Forest roads with on-site recycling

Construction and restoration using suitable existing material processed and reused on site when design and testing permit.

ZVER · Alpin Jobs EOOD · Bulgaria · EIK 200328636

Construction and restoration of forest and process roads by processing and reusing the appropriate available material.

Approach

Decision after real assessment.

Where geology, material composition and design permit, the available rock material can be crushed, distributed and reincorporated into the road structure. This potentially limits some of the deliveries, removals and transport courses, but the effect is proven for the specific section.

Submit location, approximate area, photos, access information and purpose.

  • Existing forest and technology roads
  • Areas with suitable rock material available
  • Projects with difficult or expensive transport logistics
  1. Overview of the track, drainage and material
  2. Validation of design requirements and applicable technology
  3. Fragmentation, profiling and section control

Details

Local material is evaluated before it is inserted

The video shows a real stage of processing rock material on a forest road. The machine crushes the coarse lumps on site, after which the appropriate material can be used to shape the working layer according to site requirements.

Not every material is suitable for a load-bearing course and not every route can be executed without an imported fraction. Grain size, moisture, bearing capacity, compaction, slopes and drainage should be checked against the purpose of the road.

  • Less removal of suitable available material
  • Potentially less supply of new faction
  • Shorter in-house logistics and on-site work
  • Reuse only after technical confirmation
